Charitable Grants

The ERSC Charitable Grant program provides an opportunity for organizations supporting military affiliated personnel to request grants.

Grant funds support schools, clubs, sports programs, veteran organizations, and a variety of community programs to include those for the homeless, EFMP family members and more.

During the 2017-2018 club year, the ERSC donated $31,475 in Charitable Grants! In addition, during the 2018-2019 club year, the ERSC donated $28,515 in Charitable Grants! Our Charitable Grants, formerly known as Welfare Grants, were distributed to 38 different organizations serving the JBER community. We look forward to continuing to support our community!

Charitable Grant Distribution Information

ERSC Charitable Grants are distributed by quarters. Awards are voted on by the ERSC's Governing Board at the board meeting scheduled the same month the awards will be distributed.

Quarter - Month awards are voted on and distributed:

QTR 1 - October

QTR 2 - December

QTR 3 - March

QTR 4 - May

Please note that because final votes take place at board meetings, applicants should try to have their applications submitted 2 weeks prior to the quarter they are applying for. Example: if the board meeting for QTR 1 is Oct 7th, have the application turned in by September 23rd. This will ensure the Charitable Committee has time to meet and make a recommendation regarding your application prior to the board meeting.
